Dr. Michael A. Alexander is a family-practice trained physician, with a doctorate in osteopathic medicine. He has a sub-specialty in addiction medicine and an extensive background in behavioral health. Dr. Alexander has joined our practice to provide both internal medicine treatment and behavioral health medication management in our community.
Dr. A, as many clients affectionately refer to him, is also the owner and medical director of Five Star Medical Services in Ambridge, a clinic for recovery and substance abuse treatment, and holds the medical director position at two methadone clinics in Virginia. Dr. Alexander is a Beaver County native and has come back to our community to provide these much needed service to our area.

Dr. Rutkowski has nearly 25 years of comprehensive medical experience in the local communities including: 10 years of experience in Emergency Medical Services; Cardio-Pulmonary and Medical-Surgical Nursing, Residential Treatment Facilities in Mental Health for children, adolescents, and young adults; Community Treatment Team nursing as part of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) paradigm providing mental health nursing services for post-institutionalized adults in neighborhoods and domiciles; Registered Nursing in mental health at a Long-Term Residential Facility (LTSR) providing services as a “step down” after an Acute Care stabilization. He is also experienced as a Nurse Practitioner providing services in Occupational Health, and Drug and Alcohol rehab facilities.
Dr. Rutkowski received his Associate of Science degree in nursing from the Community College of Beaver County, acquiring Phi Theta Kappa recognition for academic excellence; his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Slippery Rock University; his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Clarion and Edinboro Universities of Pennsylvania; and his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Maryville University of St. Louis, where his thesis/capstone project was on suicide recognition and abatement procedures. He is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is board-certified in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing (RN-BC) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC.)
Dr. Rutkowski provides diagnostic assessments and medication management for the patients of Beaver County Pathways. He has been married for nearly 40 years to his wife Lori. They reside in Beaver, Pa, and they have 2 children, Catherine and Daniel. He and Lori are lifelong residents of the local communities of Western Allegheny and Beaver counties.
Dr. Rutkowski has been providing services at Beaver County Pathways for nearly 4 years and is currently accepting patients throughout the lifespan (ages 5 and up.)

Timothy Peace earned his Masters of Science in Education and Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University. He obtained his Masters of Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner specialty , and is nationally board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Timothy Peace earned his Masters of Science in Education and Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University. He obtained his Masters of Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner specialty , and is nationally board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Following his RN education, he worked in the Emergency Department at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, UPMC and the RHD Core Program as a Substance Abuse Treatment Provider.
Timothy is a part-time medication prescriber at our facility and also provides behavioral health and substance abuse treatment at Elite Medical in Scranton, PA and Five Star Medical Services in Ambridge, PA.
Peace loves spending time with his wife and three young children. He enjoys coaching youth sports including baseball, football, and wrestling, hiking and hunting, and training bird dogs.
